These pets do not require specific grooming, although they have long hair. They are big, males weighing 12-20 pounds (7-10 kg), and females about 8-15 pounds (4-6 kg). Due to their big size, they are registered in the Guinness Book of Records. Texas ragdoll cats can be found at most any rescue in the state; this is a common kitten.
